Hello
I’m Wyatt J. Snow, founder and executive director of MenSafe. I started this nonprofit because I believe every survivor deserves to be heard, believed, and supported—especially men, who are too often overlooked in conversations about abuse and mental health.
My goal is simple: to break the silence, fight the stigma, and make real support accessible. MenSafe exists to ensure no one feels alone in their healing journey, and I’m honored to lead a team that shares that mission.
My Story
My story starts on a farm in rural Virginia, where I grew up with strong values—and difficult challenges. I survived sexual abuse and experienced the kind of silence that traps so many men in shame. At 15, I graduated high school early and went straight to college to build a life rooted in truth, not trauma.
As a survivor of domestic abuse, I created MenSafe to offer the kind of help I once needed: real resources, legal aid, therapy, and a safe community to turn to. What began as a personal mission quickly grew into a full organization—now helping individuals across Virginia and preparing to expand into Florida.
Today, MenSafe is my life’s work. Every program we offer and every life we touch is part of a bigger promise: that no survivor, no matter their gender, should ever be made to feel invisible.
